Achieve Australia supports people with disability across NSW, offering accommodation, support coordination, employment services, and community programs. Their website plays a critical role in informing families, carers, and participants—but the old site was inaccessible, hard to update, and didn’t meet the needs of modern users.

The problem
A good cause held back by a limited digital experience

On its own, HubSpot’s standard Company and Contact structure was not enough to support these requirements. HubSpot also fell short in supporting Achieve’s other main service offering – the provision of accommodation for Service Users.

Given the complexities of the structure of their business and their business information, Achieve was beginning to consider other CRM platforms – that is, until we introduced HubSpot Custom Object configurations.

Problem 1:

Website failed accessibility standards - Achieve’s existing site was not compliant with WCAG standards, creating barriers for users with vision impairments, cognitive disabilities, or assistive tech needs. Poor contrast, confusing navigation, and lack of screen reader support made the site difficult to use.

Problem 2:

Hard to manage internally - The site was built on a rigid CMS, meaning even simple content updates required developer input. This slowed down internal workflows and made it hard to respond to campaign needs or service changes in real time.

Engaging.io rebuilt Achieve Australia's entire website from the ground up on HubSpot CMS Enterprise, with accessibility and scalability baked into every element. We began with deep discovery sessions involving internal teams and real users, to understand the accessibility barriers they faced.

From there, we redesigned the information architecture to improve usability across a wide range of assistive technologies. High-contrast colour schemes, accessible typography, logical tab order, and alt-text guidance were implemented across all modules.

Using HubSpot’s Design Manager, we built a flexible component system that allowed the Achieve team to manage content independently. No more dev bottlenecks—just drag-and-drop sections that were fully WCAG-compliant by default.

The site also now reflects Achieve’s brand purpose—human-centred, calm, and compassionate—without sacrificing performance or usability.

Every module and layout was designed with assistive technology in mind—meaning no backtracking or retrofitting. Tab structure, labels, and ARIA attributes were implemented upfront for smooth screen reader navigation.

Flexible CMS, finally

We replaced the old locked-down CMS with HubSpot’s drag-and-drop content editor. The team can now update pages, launch campaigns, and adapt to changing needs—without needing to touch code.

Brand-aligned and user-friendly

The new visual design balanced brand expression with clarity and legibility. The result is a website that looks modern, performs well, and feels welcoming to every user.
