Amicus Interiors is a high-end office fitout company with a strong reputation for transforming commercial spaces. With plans to expand across Australia’s east coast, they needed a robust marketing engine to match their growth trajectory. Enter Engaging.io.

The problem

As Amicus geared up for growth, their digital presence needed to catch up. They had the sales muscle, but no internal marketing engine—and their existing website didn’t reflect their capabilities or speak to future customers.

Problem 1:

Despite having a well-established sales team, Amicus had no internal marketing capability or strategy. Their brand wasn’t visible online, and they lacked the digital tools to generate inbound leads.

Problem 2:

Their website didn’t reflect their level of professionalism, lacked responsiveness across devices, and wasn’t integrated with key business systems like Salesforce. Lead capture was clunky at best, and content efforts were nonexistent.

The solution
Engaging.io delivered a full digital transformation that positioned Amicus Interiors for scalable growth. This included a responsive website redesign, strategic integration between HubSpot and Salesforce, and the development of a comprehensive 12-month marketing strategy. We built lead generation tools like a custom cost calculator, ran targeted PPC campaigns, and created SEO-focused content. To ensure long-term success, we also helped recruit and train their internal marketing team, handing over a fully operational system and strategy that continues to generate qualified leads today.

The Implementation

The project began with a complete rebuild of the Amicus Interiors website, ensuring it was mobile-responsive, visually aligned with their premium brand, and optimised for conversion. Alongside the website development, we set up and configured HubSpot Marketing Hub to manage campaigns, capture leads, and track performance. A custom integration was developed to connect HubSpot seamlessly with their existing Salesforce CRM, allowing for real-time lead syncing and alignment between sales and marketing teams.

To attract and convert high-intent visitors, we designed and launched an interactive Office Size and Cost Calculator—a practical lead magnet that also positioned Amicus as a trusted advisor in the fitout space. This was supported by a strategic Google Ads campaign targeting relevant keywords to drive qualified traffic to the tool and other downloadable assets, including whitepapers.

We also introduced a quarterly benchmarking survey, helping Amicus build industry authority while generating valuable gated content to fuel their inbound marketing efforts. As part of the long-term plan, we supported the recruitment and onboarding of an internal marketing team, providing hands-on training, campaign playbooks, and strategic guidance. By the end of the engagement, the Amicus team had a fully functioning digital ecosystem—and the internal capability to drive it forward independently.

The impact and results

Amicus went from having no digital marketing presence to a robust, conversion-optimised engine supporting their growth in three capital cities. From the launch of their new website in July 2013, they experienced month-on-month growth in qualified leads. Staff were thrilled to see the site deliver results almost immediately, proving that the strategy was working.

Notably:

  • Amicus attracted co-marketing opportunities with national brands.

  • The calculator tool became one of their top lead sources.

  • Internal teams had clarity on messaging and marketing direction.

  • Engaging.io built a trusted relationship with Amicus, even scoring an invite to their staff Christmas party, proof of a true partnership.
