Travellers Autobarn is a well-known rental car and campervan hire company with locations across Australia, New Zealand, and the US. Their brand is built on freedom, adventure, and an exceptional traveller experience. But with booking drop-offs slipping through the cracks, they needed a way to capture lost leads and convert them—securely, efficiently, and at scale.

The problem

Travellers Autobarn was seeing high enquiry volumes but lacked visibility into what happened after a booking request was made. Their Rental Car Manager (RCM) system didn’t integrate with HubSpot, meaning they couldn’t trigger follow-ups or automate nurturing for prospects who didn’t complete the booking process.

The Implementation

We began by mapping Travellers Autobarn’s sales funnel and identifying key drop-off points in the customer journey. Once we understood which signals indicated a lost lead, we created a lightweight, secure integration script that could be deployed by the client’s own development team.

To support compliance and ensure sensitive customer data remained protected, the code was designed for client-side execution only—no external hosting or middleware involved. Once integrated, HubSpot began ingesting booking enquiry data and instantly triggered tailored email workflows for users who dropped off. These messages re-engaged prospects with helpful content, timely reminders, and personalised offers—reviving leads that would have otherwise been lost.
