Kind Medical is one of Australia’s fastest-growing medicinal cannabis suppliers. To meet compliance requirements and scale prescription-driven revenue, they needed a secure, centralised, and personalised digital platform for healthcare professionals.

The problem

Kind Medical operates in one of Australia’s most tightly regulated healthcare sectors, where compliance isn’t optional—it’s mission-critical. Yet their digital experience for doctors wasn’t keeping up with industry demands or the company’s ambitious growth goals.

Problem 1:

By law, product information could only be shown once a doctor’s credentials were verified. On Kind’s old Webflow site, AHPRA vetting was manual, requiring staff to check registrations by hand. This created friction for users, delayed prescribing journeys, and pulled teams away from higher-value work.

Problem 2:

Educational resources and product details lived in emails, PDFs, and static files. Doctors had no centralised, secure place to browse products, compare formulations, or revisit relevant learning content—limiting engagement and repeat visits.

Problem 3:

Kind serves doctors across multiple specialties, but their previous setup delivered the same content to everyone. Without tailored experiences, practitioners weren’t seeing resources aligned to their clinical interests, reducing the impact of educational initiatives.

Problem 4:

Leadership set an ambitious goal to 2.5× prescription-driven revenue, but existing systems couldn’t support automation, compliance, or growth at that scale. The tech stack had become a growth blocker rather than an enabler.

The Solution

Engaging.io rebuilt Kind Medical’s Healthcare Professionals Member Portal on HubSpot CMS Hub Enterprise, transforming compliance requirements into a seamless, user-friendly experience.

A custom integration with AHPRA now automates credential checks in real time, eliminating manual vetting and friction for doctors. Once verified, practitioners are onboarded into HubSpot CRM, where their specialties and interests drive personalised product content, education, and resources tailored to their clinical profile.

A searchable product catalogue and modular CMS collections replaced static PDFs, giving doctors easy access to relevant information while enabling Kind’s team to update content without developer support. Because CMS, CRM, and automation all live within one ecosystem, every practitioner interaction feeds into real-time dashboards—empowering sales and marketing to align around data, nurture relationships more effectively, and support the company’s ambitious growth goals.

The Implementation

 

The project kicked off with discovery workshops to map regulatory requirements and practitioner workflows. We built the credential verification engine, designed the gated onboarding flow, and structured CRM properties to capture clinical profiles. HubSpot CMS was configured with modular templates and dynamic filtering, enabling personalised experiences without developer intervention.

Educational resources and product data were migrated into searchable CMS collections, integrated with CanView for seamless prescribing workflows. Throughout, we focused on building scalability, ensuring the platform could expand to new product lines and even international markets in the future.

The Impact and Results

The transformation was immediate: credential vetting is now 100% automated, eliminating delays and staff workload. Doctors receive tailored content based on their specialty, driving a 34% increase in dwell time and higher engagement with educational resources. Operationally, automation saves two staff-days per week, freeing the team to focus on outreach and growth.

For sales and marketing, the portal unlocked a unified, data-rich view of practitioner behaviour. High-quality leads are now passed seamlessly from marketing to sales, supporting the company’s ambitious 2.5× revenue growth target.
