If you sell tickets through Ticketek, you're sitting on a lot of useful data:
-
Who bought what
-
Where they sat
-
And whether they actually showed up.
The challenge is getting that data into HubSpot in a way you can actually use it, rather than leaving it locked inside Ticketek's own system.
Off-the-shelf sync tools like Zapier can move data between two platforms, but they're often too rigid for how ticketing data actually needs to be handled. One client came to us after their Zapier setup couldn't keep up: it wasn't giving them control over when data synced, which fields mapped where, or how attendance data should update existing records. Without that control, marketing teams end up with incomplete contact records and no reliable way to segment or automate off real customer behaviour.
We recently completed a robust Ticketek to HubSpot integration as the client's Zapier solution was not meeting their needs.
Why this beats an off-the-shelf sync
A generic sync tool moves data from A to B. This integration lets you decide when it runs, what it maps to, and how attendance data updates records already in HubSpot.
How the sync works
Our sync takes the ticket sales and attendance data from Ticketek and then UPSERTS contacts & deals records in HubSpot.
Pull the data from Ticketek
Ticket sales, order details and attendance records are extracted from the source system.
Map the fields through JinnSync
Contact, ticketing and attendance fields are mapped to the right HubSpot objects and properties.
Upsert contact and deal records
HubSpot contacts and deals are created or updated (UPSERTed) based on the mapped data.
Append attendance data
Once an event happens, attendance data is matched to the existing deal record by barcode ID, or logged as a custom event on the contact timeline.
We pull the data from Ticketek and then use our data syncing platform JinnSync to map and sync the data to HubSpot which gives you full control over when the sync runs and what objects & properties are mapped.

What we sync from Ticketek to Hubspot
Below is a small sample of what we can sync - attendance data can also be sync'd and then updated on the appropriate record below (either appended to deal properties or stamped as a custom event to the contact timeline... or both!)

Additional feeds from Ticketek can also be mapped and sync'd so please reach out if you have any special requirements.

Now our client can easily create marketing segments, workflow automations and easily report on the data directly from HubSpot!
NEED THIS INTEGRATION?
If you're relying on a rigid, off-the-shelf sync between Ticketek and HubSpot, we can show you what a properly scoped integration could look like.
Frequently asked questions
Contact details, ticketing and order data, and attendance data can all be synced, mapped to HubSpot contacts, deals, orders, or custom objects depending on what suits your setup. The field list above is a sample of what can be mapped, not a fixed limit. If the data exists in your Ticketek feed, we can usually work with you to decide where it should live in HubSpot and how it should update over time.
Yes. Attendance is appended to the relevant deal record based on barcode ID, or logged as a custom event on the contact timeline. This gives your team a clearer view of who actually showed up, not just who purchased a ticket. From there, you can build more timely follow-up, identify high-value customers, segment engaged audiences and report on attendance behaviour inside HubSpot.
Additional feeds from Ticketek can also be mapped and synced. It's best to reach out and scope your specific requirements. Custom data mapping is exactly the kind of integration work we specialise in, so if you know what you need to see in HubSpot, we can help figure out the best way to get it there.
